Classroom – The Java test fails in the Classroom Setup Wizard.
If the Testing Java page of the Wimba Classroom Setup Wizard takes longer than two minutes to move on to the Applet test, your Java installation may be misconfigured, or you may be using an unsupported version of Java.
Typically, this issue is resolved by enabling Java inside the browser, installing Java, uninstalling older versions of Java, or reinstalling Java completely.
Also ensure that you are not using any plug-ins or extensions to your browser that might interfere with Java, such as Not Script for Chrome or No Script for Firefox. If you are running one of these extensions or another like them, the Classroom server domain will need to be added to your whitelist.
If you are running the setup wizard on a machine on an outside network (e.g. office, school, etc), try the solutions below. If none work, try running the setup wizard on a different computer on the same network. If you can replicate the issue on a second computer on the same network then there may be security settings on the network that are causing the problem. Speak with your network administrator.

Execute the following troubleshooting steps in order, retesting after the completion of each one. Do not proceed if the test is successful.
Test your Java installation with your current browser by going to http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp. If you receive a message similar to the one below, proceed to the next step. If you do not see that message, follow Java's troubleshooting tips on that page.
Try a different browser. Refer to Classroom System Requirements for a list of supported browsers and Java versions.
Clear your web browser cache. For details on how to do this, follow the steps on this page:
Clear your Java cache. Follow these instructions from Java to do so:
