Web Conferencing: Secondary windows do not open and session does not close properly on Mac OS 10.6 with Java 1.6.0_51 update installed.
Mac OS 10.6 with Java 1.6.0_51 Update installed.
It has been reported that the following two issues occur when using Web Conferencing with Mac OS 10.6 that has Java 1.6.0_51 update installed.
Issue 1: Pop-up windows do NOT display when selecting options from the menus listed below:
Solution/Workaround for Issue 1:
Users can continue to open windows using keyboard shortcut commands. For a list of keyboard shortcuts available in Web Conferencing, refer to the topic Keyboard Shortcuts in the Accessibility Guide for Participants.
Important note: Please keep in mind that there are not keyboard shortcuts for all options.
Issue 2: Web Conferencing does not close properly.
Solution/Workaround for Issue 2:
If users are unable to fully exit Web Conferencing sessions, they should force quit the application. To do so, follow the steps below:
Note: After entering a new session, users can quit the application by using the keyboard command (Command - Q) OR selecting the Leave Session option from the Help drop down menu.
