Web Conferencing - Known issue: Security Warning Prompt displays when attempting to launch web conferencing sessions using Java 7 update 45 and Java 6 update 65
Web Conferencing - all versions
Mac OS version 10.8.3 or lower with Java 7 update 45 or Java 6 update 65 installed.
It has been reported that recent Oracle Java update displays a security warning anytime a user attempts to launch or reenter a web conferencing session with Windows or Mac OS version 10.8.3 or lower that has Java 7 update 45 or Java 6 update 65 installed. The security warning will prompt the user to either 'Block' or 'Don't Block' the application from running. Selecting the 'Don't Block' option will launch the session. However, Mac 10.6 users with Java 6 update 65 will get a blank grey box without the 'Block' or 'Don't Block' options, preventing access to the session as shown in image 2 below.
