Classroom - Windows Firewall is blocking HorizonMedia
Description: Windows XP Service Pack 2 contains a built-in firewall. If you enabled the firewall, you may be prompted with a dialog box, during the Wizard or in a Room, asking you: Solution: In order for HorizonMedia to work, you need to click on Unblock. Note: If the above solution does not resolve the problem, further investigation will need to be performed by the Blackboard Collaborate Technical Support team. Technical Support will need to know what Operating System, Internet Browser, ISP and Personal Firewall software is being used. In addition, HorizonMedia Logs stored on the user's computer will also be needed. For instructions to retrieve the HorizonMedia Logs, click here. The logs and computer information should be sent to http://support.blackboardcollaborate.com if a support ticket has not yet been created.
